Maxine Waters for 2020?

Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters, 78, who has consistently barked shrewish screeds against Donald Trump and his administration, is visiting the early primary state of New Hampshire on Sunday, and some are speculating that the seriously-addled congresswoman with the checkered history may have delusions of grandeur and be eyeing a White House run in 2020.

As WMUR reports, “According to an invitation, obtained by WMUR from Democratic sources, Waters will be in the state on July 23 for the picnic to be held at the Miller Farm in New Durham,” where the Strafford County Democratic Committee will be present.

In April, Salon Editor-at-Large D. Watkins lauded Waters in a video published on Twitter; he stated five reasons “why Maxine Waters should be our next president.”

His number five reason was, “Maxine understands the people.“ He said, “Number 4, Maxine Waters has an amazing reputation of being a fearless, outspoken advocate for women, the poor, children, people of color — pretty much everybody that was left out of the Trump campaign.”

Number three? Her opposition to the war in Iraq, as he added, “That’s something that (Hillary) Clinton, (George W.) Bush, (Donald) Trump, (John) McCain, all of those people couldn’t really figure out.”
