From the Daily Caller:

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – Texas Sen. Ted Cruz rejected the movement toward a brokered Republican National Convention when he spoke before a highly supportive crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday.

“They seize on this master plan, we go to a brokered convention and the D.C. power brokers will drop someone in who is exactly to the liking of the Washington establishment,” Cruz said in an interview on stage with Sean Hannity after he delivered his remarks. “If that were to happen, we would have a manifest revolt on our hands all across this country.”

It looks like Ted Cruz isn’t going along with Mitt Romney’s plan to defeat Donald Trump.  In a contested convention it is very unlikely that Cruz would emerge the winner, so his only chance is probably to win outright.  Cruz is asking for “unity” in the party, hoping that Marco Rubio and John Kasich will drop out after March 15th.  With a split decision on Super Saturday Ted Cruz is slowly moving towards the two man race he desires.
