The Reason Feminists Are Mad At Tim Kaine Will Make You Sick

Screen Shot 2016-07-25 at 3.51.38 PMHillary Clinton’s VP pick doesn’t sit well with some of the loony tunes on the far left. It’s predictable that Tim Kaine would be criticized by the left for supporting moderate legislation but some of the critiques of Mr. Kaine border on lunacy.

Check out one of the reasons these feminist hate him, from Slate:

Kaine incensed local and national women’s rights groups by signing a law that allowed the sale of “Choose Life” license plates whose proceeds went to anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers. “It is unfortunate that, even after receiving thousands of messages from Virginians and pro-choice activists across the country, Gov. Kaine has opted to sign a bill that advances a divisive political ideology at the expense of women’s health,” Nancy Keenan, then-president of NARAL, said at the time.

Wow, they were incensed that he would support a license plate that say’s “choose life.” What did they want the license plate to say? Choose Death? It gets even worse:

In a smart piece on Kaine, New York magazine’s Ed Kilgore argued that his critics’ motivation is largely philosophical: “[I]n recent years, there’s been a trend among pro-choice folk that’s less friendly to the old ‘personally opposed to but’ pivot, or to any other attitude that condemns abortion morally while tolerating its legality. More and more feminists are insisting on recognition of abortion as a routine medical service like any other, if not an actual social or moral good.”

Abortion as a moral good, holy crap they really are crazy!

So the progressive version of Saint Peter won’t let you into heaven because you didn’t have enough abortions? Is that how it works now? Abortion is a freaking virtue these days! Hillary once said abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.

Now that abortion is a “moral good” there is no reason for it to be rare, and that’s why Democrats removed the term “rare” from the party platform several years ago.
