Trump names two deputy secretaries

President Trump announced the nomination of two deputy secretaries on Friday, along with five other administration appointments.

Trump named David Bernhardt, a lawyer at Brownstein, Hyatt Farber and Schreck, to serve as deputy secretary at the Department of the Interior, and Pamela Hughes, president of the J. Ronald Terwilliger Foundation for America’s Families, to serve as deputy secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The White House also announced high-level appointments at the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Health and Human Services.
