Trump’s Odds Of Winning Just Increased Exponentially

Screen Shot 2015-11-23 at 4.39.32 PMThe odds of Trump becoming President have literally increased by more than ten fold according to liberal pollster Nate Silver. Using available polling data, Nate Silver’s website projects the odds of each candidate winning the presidency if the election were held now. Recently Trump has been on an insane surge, check it out below:

From The Washington Examiner:

The latest vote projection from elections guru Nate Silver has Republican Donald Trump just six electoral votes short of winning and one point away from equaling Hillary Clinton’s popular vote.

The newest Five Thirty Eight survey Trump at 264 and Clinton at 272, two more than needed. It’s the closest in recent weeks.

The chart shows a huge gain for Trump, recovering from just a 3 percent chance of winning a month ago.

That’s right, Trump went from 3% to 48% in a little more than a month! Keep in mind these odds are supposed to represent what would happen if the election were held now, not what the odds will be in November.

You just don’t normally see the public’s mood shift this dramatically. The reality is that both candidates have extremely high negatives and as a result; tons of voters are undecided. Current events are going to play an enormous role in the outcome of this election with many voters making up their minds at the last minute. Trump will have both a document dump from Julian Assange and the debates to potentially boost his poll numbers even more. With so many undecided voters the debates could make or break either candidate.
